Texas Real Estate Broker Licensing Courses

Get your real estate Broker’s license and start your own company! To be licensed as a Broker, you must first hold a Salesperson’s license for at least 2 years in the state of Texas or have a current Broker’s license from another state. You must also meet the educational requirements set by TREC: 900 hours of real estate education. If you have a college degree and 270 hours of core real estate classes you may have already met the requirement. If you need additional classes to meet the 900-hour or even your 270-hour requirement, Kaplan Professional Schools offers several core elective courses that will count towards your educational requirements. All home study courses are offered in conjunction with Kaplan University.

If you’re interested in finding out more about licensing requirements visit the Texas Real Estate Commission (TREC).
