Required Education

Once you have completed your SAE, you are required to complete 15 hours of MCE, including 6 legal hours, every 2 years.

TREC has adopted a new law regarding MCE requirements! For your next* and all subsequent MCE license renewals after 1/1/05, you are required to take a 3-hour legal update course and a 3-hour legal ethics course to satisfy the 6 legal hours.
