This comprehensive training program includes how to inspect a home according to the current Standards of Practice of the Texas Real Estate Commission. This 6 day 60-hour training program will provide the necessary hands-on training for new inspector candidates that do not have past experience to qualify for a license under the General Provisions Chapter 535.212 (Education and Experience) or an inspector looking for additional training. The course includes study of the SOP, classroom presentations with local home inspection case studies, hands-on lab training and on-site inspection instruction. Instructors will utilize virtual home inspection presentations to bring the “real world” to the classroom. Students will complete live field inspections under the direct supervision of an experienced professional inspector instructor.
