Environmental Issues provides a general overview of environmental hazards, including lead-based paint, radon, asbestos, and formaldehyde. The course also discusses where hazardous materials are found in and around a property, what effects they have on the human body, how to test for them and detect them, and how to clean them up. You'll also learn about important issues outside the house, such as wetlands, contaminated water supplies and the proper storage, tests, and removal of underground storage tanks.
