New Mexico Real Estate CE Courses - NMREC Mandatory
Course
The NMREC Mandatory Course is an 8-hour course that presents an
overview of major areas with which a licensee should be familiar. Every
licensee must take this course, in person, during each three year cycle.
All Qualifying Brokers must take the new Qualifying Broker Refresher
Course to renew their real estate license every 3 years. Even if a Qualifying
Broker is exempt under the 65 years old and 20 years actively licensed
rule, they must take this course. This course does not give you
any CE credit hours toward your 30-hour renewal requirement.
The New Broker Business Practices course will be required of all associate brokers licensed for the first time on or after January 1, 2009. Patterned after courses that are called “post-licensing” courses in other states, the New Broker Business Practices course covers everything from the basics of establishing a real estate business to the successful closing of a transaction. By completing the New Broker Business Practices course, new associate brokers will receive 10 hours of education category continuing education credit toward the 30 hours required for license renewal. The course will also be available to other brokers not in their first licensing cycle.
Students will not be admitted to any live CE
classes 5 minutes after the start time.
