New Mexico Real Estate CE Courses - Legal Series
The New Broker Business Practices course will be required of all associate brokers licensed for the first time on or after January 1, 2009. Patterned after courses that are called "post-licensing" courses in other states, the New Broker Business Practices course covers everything from the basics of establishing a real estate business to the successful closing of a transaction. By completing the New Broker Business Practices course, new associate brokers will receive 10 hours of education category continuing education credit toward the 30 hours required for license renewal. The course will also be available to other brokers not in their first licensing cycle.
This course is required for all associate brokers newly licensed in New Mexico as of January 1, 2009, and must be completed by the end of the first renewal cycle.
Effective January 1, 2012 New Broker Business Practices courses is required within the first year of licensure of brokers first licensed in New Mexico as associate brokers on or after January 1, 2012.
