Washington Real Estate Broker Post Licensing Courses for First Renewal
As of July 1, 2010, the state of Washington requires everyone wishing to renew their broker license for the first time to complete the required education as follows:
First active renewal (licensed BEFORE July 1, 2010):
- 30-hour Real Estate Practices Course
- 30 hours of approved continuing education, including a 3-hour Core Course and a 3-hour Transition Course
First active renewal (licensed AFTER July 1, 2010):
- 30-hour Advanced Real Estate Practices Course
- 30-hour Real Estate Law Course
- 30 hours of approved continuing education, including a 3-hour Core Course
