Lead-Based Paint Renovation, Repair and Painting Program
According to the EPA 2008 Lead Rule, anyone who disturbs greater than 20
square feet of lead based paint on an exterior wall; or disturbs an area greater
than 6 square feet of interior paint per room needs to be trained in lead safe
work practices.
This certification must be in place by April 22, 2010.
Kaplan's Lead-Based Paint Renovation, Repair and Painting Program gives you
all the information, training and forms you need to comply with this new federal
requirement. This hands-on course will walk you through job set up, lead safe

verification.
Upon successful course completion you will be able to ensure overall

paint
- Provide on the job training for workers regarding lead safe practices
- Establish work area containment fields
- Direct work being performed on site
