California Real Estate Agent CE Courses - Grace Period
The California DRE allows for a two-year late renewal grace period after expiration and without requalification through an examination (this does not apply to Salespersons with conditionally suspended licenses). If you were licensed prior to October 1, 2007, and are renewing your original license for the first time, you are required to complete the 15-hour CE requirement, including Agency, Ethics, Fair Housing, Trust Fund Handling, and Risk Management.
Course Completion Time Limits
The enrollment period for every Anthony Schools course is 6 months. Some types of delivery have shorter access periods. . To determine the minimum allowable completion time for DRE approved Continuing Education courses, divide the number of approved hours by 8 hours per day (any fractional portion equals an additional day). For example, a course approved for 12 hour equals 2 days (12 divided by 8, equals 1.5 or 2 days). You may not take the final exam to complete the course until the minimum completion time has been satisfied. The clock starts on the day you have access to course material. The DRE will only allow students to take exams for a maximum of 15 approved credit hours in any 24 hour period. If you don’t pass the final exam within the allotted two attempts, you must re-enroll in the course.
Based on the California Department of Real Estate regulations, students are not able to complete more than 15 credit hours worth of course exams in a 24 hour period. Based on that regulation, the exams for this package will populate your My Site page in the following order:
